Crawfish Season is Coming!
We plan to return to Waterloo Ice House for their annual Crawfish Crawl beginning in late April. We hope to be playing other crawfish events as well.
The Numbers play traditional New Orleans jazz and other music mainly from the early part of the 20th Century. The band was originally formed by members of the Austin Community College Math Department. Players have come and gone over the years and the band has evolved beyond its humble beginnings. Some members still have connections to ACC as faculty or playing with the ACC jazz bands. The band is led by its founder, Don Lavigne, who grew up in New Orleans. The Numbers have performed at the North Door, Kenny Dorham’s Backyard, Waterloo Ice House, weddings and private parties, among other venues. We are proud to be part of the Honk!TX community of street bands.
We can play with little or no amplification, can set up just about anywhere and can even march around when needed.
We are available to play most any event. To book us, please contact Don Lavigne firstname.lastname@example.org 512-658-0482
